“We manage romantic holiday cottages in areas nearby, so we are familiar with the area, and it’s no surprise to us that the top two experiences are on or near Windermere. It’s a fantastic place for couples to be based for a unique and adventurous holiday. The list revealing top activities from everywhere from Kendal to Keswick also shows the strength in activity businesses across the whole of the national park. The list also includes many thrill-seeking attractions, which shows couples are seeking out and loving adventurous activities as an alternative to a traditional date.”
