Nestled in the serene beauty of the Lake District, Gilpin Hotel’s Spa Suites and Spa Lodges will transform each stay into a healing escape, where guests are invited to press pause and simply be – while Gilpin takes care of everything else.
Each Hideaway is an exclusive sanctuary with private spa features including outdoor hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms and luxurious spaces, all enveloped by nature and shielded from the outside world. Guests will be personally looked after by a dedicated Hideaway Concierge, with spa treatments delivered in-room by therapists trained in safe touch therapy by the Amethyst Trust – ensuring sensitivity, compassion and expert care.

Luxurious detached cedar-clad lodges with king-size beds, gorgeous bathrooms and a fabulously private en-suite spa along with mood lighting, fires, electric blinds and a state-of-the-art music system – invigorating all of the senses. The Spa Lodges have a steam room, rain maker shower, huge free standing oval stone bath, outdoor sauna and hydrotherapy hot tub surrounded by a walled garden – along with wonderful views over the gardens to the Lake District fells.

Designed as the ultimate 100-square-metre spa sanctuary, Gilpin’s Spa Suites blend a beautiful ‘outdoors / indoors’ aesthetic with themed décor and lush suspended live plants. Nestled between mountain views and tranquil woodland with a stream running through, the suites sit behind a curved Lakeland stone wall surrounded by delightful planting for extra privacy. Floor-to-ceiling windows and patio doors open onto a south-facing decked garden with fountain features, a living fern wall, a huge pond and a stunning 2-metre square stone-built hot tub. Inside, the main living space is split – to the right, a lounge and dining area with a hanging fireplace, bar, and wine fridge, to the left, an enormous circular Lussostone bath, double walk-in shower, and cedar woodvanity area. The bedroom ‘floats’ over the pond while the spa room includes a steam room, sauna, infrared lounge bed, and automated massage chair.

DAY 2: Private In-Room Spa Trail and Pan Asian Dining
