I Tried the TikTok “Botox in a Bottle” Mist – Honest Review After 2 Weeks

My Honest Review of the Viral TikTok “Botox in a Bottle” Face Mist

Ok, here we go again with another viral beauty product from TikTok — and before I lay into this one, I have to remind you that I buy these products myself and am not affiliated with them in any way. That’s why you won’t find the product linked in this article. If you want it, you’ll find it easily — it’s all over TikTok.

This time, it’s the “Botox in a bottle” Korean cream mist that creators are spraying like it’s some kind of instant facelift in a bottle.

Part of Crave’s Viral Product Reviews series, where we test trending products so you don’t have to.

What This Product Actually Is

Let’s strip it back.

This is a cream mist — essentially a hydrating facial spray with skincare ingredients designed to moisturise and improve the overall look of your skin.

It typically contains ingredients like:

  • peptides (often linked to skin firmness)
  • probiotic/fermented ingredients
  • hydrating agents
  • barrier-supporting ingredients

On paper, it sounds great — and to be fair, these are all ingredients you’d expect in a decent moisturising product.

But none of these ingredients function like Botox. Not even close.

The TikTok Claims

This is where things start to unravel.

TikTok sellers are calling this:

  • “Botox in a bottle”
  • a “lifting spray”
  • something that can “tighten and sculpt your face”

Let’s be clear — that is not just exaggerated, it’s factually wrong.

Botox works by relaxing muscles in the face. That’s how it smooths lines and changes the appearance of the skin.

A facial mist cannot do that.

And I knew that before I even bought it. There is no logical way a spray can tighten and lift your skin in the same way as an injectable treatment.

My Experience After Two Weeks

TikTok Botox in a bottle mist review

I’ve been using this daily for a couple of weeks now, so this isn’t a first impression — this is a fair trial.

And here’s the honest take.

As a facial refresher? I actually like it.
The fragrance is nice, and it does give a light hit of hydration.

As a moisturiser? It’s… nice. Not amazing, not terrible — just fine. It gives your skin a bit of a glow and helps it feel more comfortable, but nothing beyond what you’d expect from a standard hydrating product.

As for the “lifting” and “tightening”?

There is none.

No visible sculpting.
No change in the shape of your face.
No moment where you suddenly look more lifted.

What you do get is hydrated skin — and hydrated skin can look smoother. That’s it.

How It Performs With Makeup

This is where it really didn’t work for me.

As a makeup base, I found it too slick. My makeup didn’t sit as well as usual and felt like it was sliding rather than setting properly.

Using it over makeup wasn’t any better. After a couple of hours, my mascara had started to print under my eyes — which is an immediate no from me.

So for makeup wear? It’s a hard pass.

The Bigger Problem With Products Like This

I’m more than happy to say when a product looks great on the skin. And to be fair, the realistic results here — hydration, a bit of glow — are perfectly fine.

But I am completely over the over-the-top claims.

This is not Botox in a bottle.
It does not deliver Botox-like results.
And it simply does not do what TikTok sellers are claiming.

Find me someone who isn’t making money from this product who says otherwise — I’ll wait.

Final Verdict

As a moisturising mist, it’s decent.
As a facial refresher, I like it.
As a viral “lifting” product? Absolutely not.

This is a good example of a perfectly average product being pushed into unrealistic territory by TikTok marketing.

If you go in with realistic expectations, you’ll probably think it’s fine.

If you’re expecting your face to look lifted, tightened, or anything close to cosmetic treatment results — you’re going to be disappointed.
