26 Grains

Scandinavian inspired 26 Grains is home to wholesome porridge, smoothie bowls, bircher muesli and coffee. Alex Hely-Hutchinson and the team at 26 Grains have launched a number of food boxes available for delivery in London.

These boxes include a Breakfast Box full of delicious porridge, compote, granola, bread and coffee and the Market Box containing enough for a set three course meal, highlights include Rosemary & Garlic Focaccia and Baron Bigod Brie. With lockdown keeping us all inside there is also an Apretivo box with natural wine, olives and focaccia, perfect for a Friday night in. If you can’t decide 26 Grains have created the Everything Box which contains Breakfast, Market and Apretivo boxes to keep everyone happy!

Market trader Truffle, has recently launched a number of DIY Burger meal kits for foodies to cook their favourites at home. Delivering every week, fans can pick from the signature Truffle Burger, Aged Beef, Veggie Truffle Burger & Veggie Aged Burger, and you can also add Beer and Mac & Cheese as sides.

Kits (for four) are available for £25, with delivery inside the M25, delivery is charged at £5 per order, while it’s £8 elsewhere in the UK.

The Covent Garden Hotel – Recipe boxes with a difference 

As part of Firmdale Food at Home, Firmdale Hotels is set to launch recipe boxes with a difference. The team has carefully selected their favourite dishes from their London restaurants which can easily be prepared at home.

The dishes and menus have been specially created and partially prepared by the Group Executive Head Chef, Robin Read and will be delivered straight to selected postcodes in London.

A selection of delicious menus are available to order, choose from ‘The Dinner Party’, including a lobster cocktail and Côte de boeuf with hand cut chips or try ‘The Weekend Brunch’, with poached eggs, crab and avocado on sourdough and more There is also the option to add Firmdales very own wine recommendations to perfectly match each meal, or perhaps a pre-made cocktail or pre-dinner aperitif.

Delivery will be available to London postcodes except W4, W6, W10 and W12.

There are many Silcian products available to order such as the highly popular Sourdough Starter for those keen lockdown bakers, alongside pasta, olives and italian wine. They are also offering London made soap bars created with authentic italian ingredients. 

Meal kits include pasta with tuna buzzonaglia and capers, and mouth watering, spaghetti con la bottarga di tonno.
