Taste of Iberia: The Mutton’s Next Sell-Out Dining Experience
Spanish cuisine is big on two things: provenance and great ingredients, just like The Mutton at Hazeley Heath, so it only makes sense for Head Chef Rob to sweep guests off to Spain in the next instalment of his sell-out Taste Of series with a Taste of Tapas.
On Thursday, 7th August, swap Hampshire for Huelva and tuck into a delicious sharing menu (£55 per person) which will showcase the very best of Spanish cooking for the fraction of the price of a plane ticket.
Kick things off in Madrid, sharing a generous portion of crispy Jamon Croquettes before heading north to Galicia to tuck into gently braised octopus served with a Romesco sauce. Then, enjoy a delectable jamon, fig and manchego salad, served family style, before devouring an irresistible plate of berenjenas con miel (aubergines with honey) – an argument over who gets the last one is guaranteed. The next stop is Aragon for a hearty bowl of braised beef and polenta, with several more paradas along the way, before rounding things off with a whopping slice of Basque Cheesecake and churros so good you’d think you were sitting at the Chocolatería San Ginés.
Of course, the Iberian peninsula is also home to some of the world’s most beloved wines, from Rioja to Verdejo, so make the most of that holiday feeling and enjoy a thoughtfully-curated wine pairing which is available for an additional cost.
After all, when in Spain (or Hampshire) do as the Spanish do so join The Mutton at Hazeley Heath for an unforgettable evening of superb, sharing plates; sensational drinks; and good times. You could even arrive in enough time to enjoy aperitivo in one of the most beautiful pub gardens in the UK. ¡Buen provecho!
Tickets are expected to sell very quickly so get yours before it’s too late.
