Edinburgh’s premier destination for authentic Thai cuisine, renowned family-owned restaurant Chaophraya, has launched an exciting new breakfast menu – the first of its kind for the string of restaurants.
The unique new menu aims to bring a kick to the breakfast table, featuring classic breakfast dishes with a true Thai twist, exclusive to its Edinburgh site.
Diners can enjoy dishes such as hot smoked salmon pad ka prao eggs benedict with sriracha spiced hollandaise and ‘Khai Krata’ fried eggs featuring Thailand’s answer to the breakfast sausage.
With the introduction of the Thai breakfast menu, Chaophraya aims to continue delighting its customers, new and longstanding, with its rich and vibrant traditional Thai food.
Ian Leigh, Chaophraya’s Managing Director said “We are incredibly excited to introduce our Thai breakfast menu to our Edinburgh location, we have wanted to take this step for a while and it’s fantastic to see it come to life – particularly at one of our most iconic Chaophraya sites
“We’re extremely proud of this menu as Thai options aren’t typically seen on the UK breakfast market. We look forward to sharing these dishes with our guests and giving them a true taste of Thailand to start their day.
Located in the heart of Edinburgh on Castle Street, offering unique views of the castle, Chaophraya offers an escape in the city and has long been celebrated for its exquisite Thai dishes, exceptional service, and immersive dining atmosphere.
In addition to these traditional dishes, the new breakfast menu will also include a selection of freshly brewed Thai teas and coffees, offering the perfect complement to the hearty breakfast fare.
The Thai breakfast menu is available Friday – Sunday from 9am – 11:30am and is available to book now. To see the full menu or to make a reservation, book online or call 01316340023.
