Slurp Thai is bringing the tastes of Thailand to London this spring with a new menu packed with bold flavours, fresh ingredients, and a mix of beloved classics and daring new dishes.
Launching on 8th April, the new menu has been created by co-founder, and Thai restaurateur Saiphin Moore. Guests can expect street food staples, sizzling snacks, vibrant salads, and comforting rice dishes.
Saiphin has picked out a few of her personal favourites, ensuring every bite is a flavour-packed celebration of Thai cuisine.
Highlights on the menu include Bang Tod Cod Collar, a shallow fried cod collar with Thai herb seasoning and seafood sauce dip. Sai Oua Gai, fragrant Northern Thai-style grilled chicken sausage. Som Tum Thai (Green Papaya Salad), a perfect hit of sweet, sour, and spice. Delve into new adventurous dishes such as the Dry Pad Prik Daeng Curry Eel, braised in a fiery red gaeng paste and topped with fried lime leaves for a red hot dining experience.
Vegetarians can also get into the Thai food action with the Fried Tofu Cha Plu, a crispy tofu delight a bed of peppery cha plu and topped with zingy sauce and crispy shallots.
For those after something stronger, head down to Dang’s, Slurp Thai’s basement hideaway, serving up serious drinks and dangerously good Thai small bites. Zabb Chicken Wings, tossed in Slurp’s signature spicy, salty, crispy coating, or Hat Yai Fried Chicken, traditional deep fried chicken thigh marinated in coriander, garlic & white pepper, topped with crispy shallots.
With offers on drinks throughout the week, guests can enjoy 2 for £20 house cocktails from 5:00pm-6:30pm and 15% off Wine Wednesdays and toast to the new spring season. Sip on Thai-inspired cocktails, ice-cold beers, or crisp sake, including Banana Hibiki with Hibiki whisky, Cacao Rum and Crème de banane. One Night In Khao San, Khao San Gin, Lime, Lemongrass, syrup, and Birds Eye chili. Koh Foam, Tarquin Gin, Lemon, Coconut foam, and Thai basil syrup.
