Il Gattopardo launches ‘Il Pranzo’, a new weekend menuIl Gattopardo, the chic Italian restaurant on Mayfair’s Albemarle Street, is launching a new menu, ‘Il Pranzo’— a new weekend menu bringing the spirit of Italian dining to London’s West End.
Launching on 15th March 2025 and available every Saturday and Sunday during lunch time, Il Pranzo has been designed to include weekend specials designed ‘per la tavola’ to be shared with friends and family. Il Gattopardo boasts a Terrazza complete with trellised walls, climbing vines, and a retractable roof, it is the perfect spot to enjoy long, leisurely lunches under the spring sun in the heart of Mayfair.
The menu begins with a selection of Antipasti for the table, featuring Tartare di Tonno, Arancini, Pizzettas and a Cavolo Riccio salad, all designed to share. For the Secondi, diners can choose from six indulgent mains, including Cavatelli, a rich dish of hand-rolled pasta with Italian sausage and aged pecorino, and Cannelloni stuffed with spinach & ricotta in a roasted tomato sauce, topped with Parmigiano Reggiano. Those seeking heartier options can enjoy the Controfiletto, a perfectly roasted beef sirloin with honey-glazed carrots and parmesan mashed potatoes, or Branzino, a sea bass fillet served ‘acqua pazza’ with Datterini tomatoes and capers.
To finish up and for all to share, Pasticcini, a selection of miniature Italian desserts: Il Gattopardo’s much-loved tiramisu, vanilla cannoncino, gianduia maritozzo, berries crostata, pistachio bigné and baci di dama. The Il Gattopardo drinks menu features a selection of Italian inspired cocktails including four different barrel aged Negronis, alongside signatures such as Amici Miei, Seven Hills Gin, Fig Marmalade, Sambuco Cordial, Amarena and Lemon. A 450-bottle strong wine list offers guests the perfect accompaniment to their Il Pranzo experience.
As the seasons shift, Il Gattopardo’s beautifully designed space, inspired by the effortless elegance of 1960s Italian Riviera glamour, provides the perfect backdrop for a relaxed yet refined weekend experience. Whether seated in the main dining room or on the sun-soaked Terrazza, guests can enjoy an atmosphere that embodies la dolce vita.
Reservations for Il Pranzo are available now. The menu – £58 – is served every Saturday and Sunday from Saturday 15th March 2025.
