Daly’s Wine Bar & Beer Hall Returns to The Strand

The much-loved Daly’s on The Strand has reopened its doors as Daly’s Wine Bar & Beer Hall, offering Londoners a brand-new destination for food, drink, and socialising. Following a complete transformation, the venue now delivers two distinct experiences across two floors – from refined wine bar sophistication upstairs to the energy and vibrancy of a modern beer hall below.

The Wine Bar

Upstairs, Daly’s Wine Bar blends timeless charm with a fresh, contemporary feel. Wine lovers can enjoy a curated list from Berkmann Wine Cellar, featuring vintages by the glass, bottle, and magnum. The selection ranges from accessible favourites like Bodega Norton Finca La Colonia Colección Malbec and Vinho Verde Anjos, through to the prestigious Cellar Reserve Collection, including Macán Clásico Rioja by Rothschild Vega Sicilia.

Sparkling fans won’t be disappointed, with English fizz from Nyetimber and Champagne classics from Veuve Clicquot, alongside an extensive list of cocktails, liqueurs, and non-alcoholic options.

The menu, created by Head Chef Tahreem Hossain, pairs beautifully with the drinks list. Expect elevated British comfort dishes and refined sharing plates such as prawn and duck fat rillettes, Cobble Lane charcuterie boards, artisanal British cheeses, and prime Oxfordshire steaks.

With its cosy corners for date nights, larger tables for groups, and a private Court Room that hosts up to 50 guests, Daly’s Wine Bar is perfectly placed for everything from after-work drinks to weekend celebrations.

The Beer Hall

Downstairs, Daly’s Beer Hall brings a lively new atmosphere to The Strand. With 16 beers on draft, including hoppy IPAs from Beavertown and Deya, crisp lagers such as Asahi, and fruit-forward Jubel Peach Lager, it’s a paradise for beer enthusiasts.

Food is comfort-led but elevated: giant pretzels, sausage swirls with honey mustard, pulled lamb croquettes, short rib nachos, and cheddar rarebit with grilled chorizo.

Adding to the fun, guests can book interactive electric darts boards and catch live sports on big screens with SKY and TNT Sports coverage, from the Premier League to the Six Nations.

Events and Celebrations

Daly’s Beer Hall will launch into the season with a special Oktoberfest menu – reimagining German classics with British twists – while the festive season will feature Christmas party packages ranging from champagne and charcuterie to beer and darts.
