Afternoon tea at The Midland has been a highlight of the Manchester social scene since the hotel opened in 1903. As Manchester’s only setting dedicated to afternoon tea, The Tea Room at The Midland is one of a kind served in opulent surroundings overlooking St Peter’s Square. This summer, The Tea Room is celebrating it’s one year anniversary in partnership with Pommery with a new menu including delicate finger sandwiches, fluffy scones with Devon clotted cream and Mrs Darlington’s jams, and show-stopping patisserie crafted in-house.

With a dedicated children’s menu consisting of a selection of sandwiches, freshly baked scones, brownies and cupcakes, it’s the perfect treat during the summer holidays.

Over at the Lounge and Champagne Bar, the newly launched summer menu brings a fresh take to daytime dining, with vibrant dishes and chilled drinks perfect for long lunches or early evening plans.

The French by Adam Reid has also introduced a lighter, shorter version of its Signature Menu, offering six beautifully curated courses for just £75pp. Dishes include Organic Lamb, Poached Cod Loin and a reimagined Lancashire Pie, available Wednesday to Friday for a limited time only.

And for those planning something special, Events by Adam Reid at The Midland offers a premium dining experience for groups of up to 150, with bespoke menus starting from just £35pp.
