Fat Hippo – Five Vegan Burgers, plus Sides + Sauces 🍔
Indulgent, delicious, dirty and vegan! Just opened in Shoreditch, Fat Hippo is serving up some of the best vegan burgers in town. Roll up your sleeves for the Notorious VFC 2.0 (£13.90), featuring southern-fried plant-based chkn, loaded with waffle fries, vegan cheese, lettuce, pickles, BBQ sauce and zinger mayo or the Oprah Sin-Free (£13.90) with a plant-based patty, vegan cheese, Cajun fakon bites, onion rings and Fat Hippo sauce. Every burger comes with fries as standard, but don’t miss vegan sides including frickles (fried pickles), wachos (waffle nacho hybrid) and trash browns. Enjoy select burgers and fries for £8 until 4pm Monday to Friday, as well as ‘Hippo Hour’ – two courses for £16 and three for £18.50 from 5pm – 6pm on weekdays.
World Vegan Month – Drake & Morgan – ‘Shrimp’ Lollipops and Vegan Burrata 🍽🌿
Leading bar and restaurant group Drake & Morgan (The Sipping Room, The Folly, The Refinery Bankside) has welcomed a whole host of plant-based goodness to their menus. Get ready to be blown away by the “Shrimp” Lollipops (£6.95), a one-of-a-kind seafood substitute made from soy! There’s also the Mezze Board with chestnut hummus, harissa, burella (vegan burrata), flatbread and marinated beans (£19.95), or a warming Pumpkin and Sage Ravioli with vegan ‘Nduja’ cream, vegan feta, baby spinach and pumpkin seeds (£16.95). With 17 London locations, from Canary Wharf to Southwark, go green at Drake & Morgan this month.

World Vegan Month – Haché – New Symplicity Vegan Burger 🍔
New to Haché’s line-up of beloved burgers comes the limited edition plant-based Symple Frenchie (£14) – launched in collaboration with chef and Symplicity Foods founder, Neil Rankin. Proving to be the place to eat no meat this November, this meat-free marvel features a signature Symplicity burger patty topped with caramelised and crispy onions, pea shoots, Haché’s Rosemary Sea Salt Fries and finished off with French mustard, homemade Bloody Marie ketchup and a vegan tarragon béarnaise sauce. A true treat for burger connoisseurs, the Symple Frenchie is served in a Sally Clarke vegan seeded brioche bun for a final French flourish!

World Vegan Month – Little Planted Kitchen – Vegan Only Delivery Restaurant 🍽 🌿
Proving veg can be the star of the show is the London-based vegan delivery-only restaurant, Little Planted Kitchen. Tuck into takeaway treats such as small bites like Cauliflower ‘Popcorn’, Corn ‘Ribs’ or Impossible Chick’n Tenders, each served with your choice of sauce from barbecue, hot cayenne, buffalo or Rubies in the Rubble Mayo with Fresh Lime. When it comes to mains, burgers and bowls are piled high with the freshest and highest quality ingredients – enjoy items such as the Little Planted Truffle – a Symplicity burger patty topped with lashings of Bloody Mary ketchup, caramelised onions, peashoots, truffle shavings and an indulgent truffle and black pepper sauce.
