Known for its revolutionary tights collection and sell-out Chub Rub Shorts, fully size-inclusive retailer Snag has announced that it will be launching a new sustainable fashion range

The UK’s fastest growing fully size-inclusive retailer, Snag, today announces the launch of a brand-new sustainable clothing range which will initially include leggings and t-shirts and will expand into other lines later this year.

British fashion retailer, Snag, has announced the launch of a brand-new sustainable fashion collection that will initially include two new lines, leggings and t-shirts. These new products will sit alongside Snag’s existing collection of popular tights and Chub Rub Shorts, marking the award-winning brand’s first foray into apparel.

The initial collection will include a range of leggings (launching 25th March), that will be available in black, in a high waisted fit with pockets. This range has been created to ensure that they are completely opaque no matter what size, after the brand identified that many consumers experience problems finding leggings that don’t become see-through when worn, especially in higher sizes as the material stretches.

In addition, Snag will be introducing a line of t-shirts (launching 26th April), which will be available in black and white, and with both a plain option and a range that are emblazoned with exciting bespoke designs from artist Taynee Tinsley. Taynee is a body positive artist who creates a wide range of products using her illustrations including prints, bags, and homeware. Taynee will be joining Snag as a guest designer for their new launch, sharing Snag’s ethos that every body should be celebrated.

Recognising the lack of eco-conscious, accessible, and inclusive fashion collections, Snag’s new range has been created using a sustainable viscose fibre which is made from wood and pulp and will be priced from £16.99 for t-shirts and £29.99 for the leggings. The use of this fabric means that there is up to 50% lower emissions in comparison to normal viscose fibres. Known for their ethical approach, Snag also do not use plastic in their packaging and their wider sustainability practices include a carbon neutral production process and the use of only vegan-friendly dyes throughout their entire product range.

The fashion brand launched four years ago and is now the UK’s fastest growing fully size-inclusive retailer, leading the charge on challenging the fashion industry to be more inclusive.  The brand is already a firm favourite with celebrities, influencers, and the UK public thanks to their range of revolutionary tights that are made using a unique sizing matrix, which ensures the perfect, comfortable fit for people regardless of size, shape, age, gender, height, or ability. Snag’s move into the wider fashion market is driven by a desire to provide customers with size inclusive clothing that is both sustainable accessible for all.

Brie Read CEO and Founder of Snag commented“Mainstream clothing retailers are often using marketing gimmicks to make them appear more inclusive, but the bottom line is the fashion industry is still failing people by not being fully inclusive.

Ever since the launch of Snag we have fought against the industry by choosing to take a different approach in every aspect of our brand – from our product sizing to the materials we use, and the diverse mix of people we feature within our photoshoots and on our social media channels.

We want to continue to revolutionise the fashion industry, so that it becomes a significantly more inclusive space for everyone. With the transition into apparel, we believe we are one step closer to this goal and we can’t wait to see the reaction from our customers!”

Snag’s new leggings will be priced from £29.99 and will launch on 25th March 2021, while the new t-shirt range will be priced from £16.99 and will launch on 26th April 2021.
