But as these vibrating platforms promise effortless fat loss and muscle toning, fitness professionals are raising important questions about what these machines can actually deliver.

Trond Nyland, CEO and Owner of Fynd and functional fitness expert, explains why the vibration plate phenomenon reflects a deeper misunderstanding about sustainable weight loss:

Even with exercises like squats, the energy expenditure remains modest compared to traditional cardio or strength training.

  • Not for Everyone.
