February: Domaine Allimant-Laugner

Picture a charming family estate nestled in Orschwiller, in Northern Alsace, France. Grandma Allimant married Grandpa Laugner, which gave the winery its name, but the two families have been cultivating vines since the 17th century. With 12 generations of history in each bottle, you’re in for a night of unparalleled expertise.

In 2013, after completing his studies, Nicolas stepped into the family legacy, taking charge of the cellar, production, and marketing. At this event, he’ll be sharing stories of their family’s history, talking you through each wine, and sharing their hidden techniques, such as the fact that they choose to do most of their tasks by hand! It truly is a labour of love, and you can taste it in every sip.

March: Château Les Croisille

This March we’re saying Bonjour! to the wonderful Germain Croisille from Château Les Croisille. The Croisille story begins in the picturesque terroir in Fages, located in southwestern France. In 1979 Germain’s parents became tenant farmers of a parcel of untouched land and only with grit, love, and determination, did they transform it into the wine haven it is today.

Germain joined the family business in 2008 and he will be your guide throughout the three-hour session, so you can sip, swirl, and savour each drop of his family wine as he unveils the vineyard secrets and hidden stories and techniques behind each bottle.

April: Villa Melnik

Militza Zikatanova from Villa Melnik will be travelling all the way from Bulgaria to treat us to an exciting evening celebrating her family’s wine. Their story begins in the picturesque town Melnik, located in southwestern Piri Mountains of Bulgaria. Militza’s parents, Nikola and Lyubka, planted their vineyards with indigenous and international grape varieties with the clear mission to bring back the glory of the Melnik wine and to lead the Renaissance of the region. The family champion local grapes and continue to impress with every bottle opened.

Militzka joined the family business in 2015 and has been making wine ever since.
