Something that is clearly evident in this research as modern Brits are increasingly embracing the endless and exciting ways they find eggs served online.

“With the growing appetite for raw and runny egg dishes, we always recommend that shoppers look for the British Lion mark, which not only guarantees the highest food standards, but is also recommended by the NHS to ensure eggs are safe to serve raw or runny, even to pregnant women and young children.”

Eight in ten (81%) under 45s think their generation is more adventurous than their parent’s, with 79% agreeing that food is more exciting than ever in 2026.
