It’s that time of the week again, where we round up the perfect pleasure potions for your enjoyment.
Tantalise your tastebuds with this weeks selection of tipples and shake up your weekend with these Thirsty Thursday Cocktails with Zespri™ SunGold™ kiwifruit which are now in season and available at all major supermarkets.
Zespri™ SunGold™ Kiwifruit Mojitos
Serves: 2 Preparation time: 5 minutes. Difficulty: Easy

What you need:
- 8 Zespri™ SunGold™ kiwifruit, peeled and quartered
- 2 limes, juice only
- 80ml simple syrup or sugar, adjust to taste
- 100ml gin
- 30g fresh mint leaves
- Soda water, to top
- Ice
What to do:
- Place 6 of the peeled kiwi pieces in a blender or small food processor with the sugar syrup and lime juice, pulse until you have coarse puree. If you want an extra minty flavour for the mojitos, then add some mint leaves into the blender.
- In a large pitcher, mix the kiwi puree with the alcohol.
- Next add some mint leaves and the remaining kiwi quarters to the crushed kiwi and alcohol mix.
- Add the soda water.
- Fill each glass 2/3 of the way with the mojito, then top with crushed ice.
Zespri™ SunGold™ Kiwifruit Martini
Serves: 2 Preparation time: 5 minutes. Difficulty: Easy

What you need:
- 2 Zespri™ SunGold™ kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
- 2tsp sugar syrup
- Ice
- 75ml Vodka
- Zespri™ SunGold™ kiwi slice for garnish
What to do:
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle the peeled kiwifruit with sugar syrup to release the juice.
- Add the ice and the vodka.
- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
- Garnish with a slice of kiwifruit.
Zespri™ SunGold™ Kiwifruit Margaritas
Serves: 2 Preparation time: 5 minutes. Difficulty: Easy

What you need:
- 2 Zespri™ SunGold™ kiwifruit, peeled and sliced
- 120ml Tequila
- 60ml Orange liqueur
- 60ml fresh Lime Juice
- 60ml Simple Syrup
- Ice
- 2 Zespri™ SunGold™ kiwifruit slices, for garnish
- (optional) flaky salt for the rim
What to do:
- If you prefer a salted glass: rub the rim of a glass with an edge of a lime slice. Swirl the rim through a small pile of salt. Set aside.
- Slice a kiwi for garnish and cut the rest of the kiwi into 1/2-inch pieces. Set aside garnish & place kiwi pieces in cocktail shaker and muddle.
- Add tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice, and simple syrup to the shaker with the muddled kiwi.
- Add ice to the shaker. Shake until nicely chilled.
- Pour everything into the prepared glass and serve with the kiwi slice.
