Friday 19th Jun 2020 |

On the 10th July, five-red-star The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa in Bath will swing open their doors and invite guests to step inside for a stay at their stunning historic hotel once again.

With a number of tempting new packages incorporating the ‘Best of British’, including ‘Escape to the Garden Villa’ and ‘Savouring Bath’, a staycation at one of the UK’s most loved  hotels is not to be missed.

The Royal Crescent Hotel

Situated in the heart of the Royal Crescent amidst the 250-year-old Georgian architecture, The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa is housed in an impressive Grade I listed building and provides the ultimate haven in the heart of one of Britain’s most treasured cities.  Offering spectacular views of the city and surrounding Cotswold hills, the hotel features 45 individually decorated suites and guest rooms which overlook either the Crescent lawn or the hotel’s private walled gardens.

Adhering to government guidelines and UK hospitality advice, the hotel have put in place a number of enhanced procedures to ensure the health and safety of their guests as top priority, all whilst delivering the same personalised service and attention to detail expected at The Royal Crescent Hoel & Spa.

Welcoming Summer in the South West with an abundance of beautiful scenery, rich culture and enviable tranquility, The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa has luxury sewn up, and with  their new add-on experiences, guests can truly make the most of the  ‘Best of the West’ during their visit.

Set in one of the country’s most stylish postcodes, the heritage spa city of Bath is the perfect place to take  a post-lockdown escape, especially with the hotel’s recently renovated Spa & Bath House, set in the beautifully converted Coach House.  Take a dip in the twelve-metre heated relaxation pool, before indulging in the Himalayan Salt-infused Sauna or Herbal Steam Inhalation Room.

Post relaxation, guests can continue into the spa’s garden to enjoy a tipple of Taittinger Champagne and the hotel’s famed Afternoon Tea. As a way of saying thank you, the hotel will also be offering all NHS staff 2-4-1 afternoon teas for the first four weeks after they re-open.

Distancing measures will of course be put into place in the hotel’s Dower House Restaurant, however, should guests feel more comfortable dining  in the comfort of their own suite, the hotel will be only too happy to arrange. Lead by Head Chef, David Campbell, the 3AA Rosette Dower House offers an ever-changing seasonal menu that champions the best of Somerset produce, with each dish perfectly paired with a fine wine selected by the resident sommelier.

If the COVID-19 pandemic has taught us anything, it is to hold close to us what is near and dear, and with The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa and the historic city of Bath being just under an hour and a half from London by train, we cannot wait to rediscover the treasures on our doorstep this Summer.

Deluxe Rooms start at £330 per night on a bed and breakfast basis.Learn more about The Royal Crescent Hotel & Spa or make reservations through the hotel website at: www.royalcrescent.co.uk or call +44 (0) 1225 823333
