The Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts has recently launched a one-of-a-kind initiative: Arq at Pichola in the gardens of The Leela Palace Udaipur – a “palace within a palace”, the Arq includes three ultra-private, ultra-luxury villa spaces, along the shores of Lake Pichola, each providing butlers, world-class cuisine, wellness treatments and activities and immersion into the finest of Indian traditions.
Each Arq villa is carefully designed to provide the most secluded and enriching experience from start to finish: Guests of Arq arrive in style on one of The Leela Palaces’ private electric boats, accompanied by a personal butler, who will offer a detailed explanation and orientation of the lake and its breathtaking surroundings. Upon arrival, guests will receive a soothing foot ritual, designed for ultimate relaxation, after which they will be presented with a curated selection of villa activities from which to choose for the days ahead.
These include:
- Morning yoga sessions tailored to enhance relaxation and well-being,
- Floating breakfasts in the villa’s pool
- High tea served daily from 4 – 6pm
The Arq creates a hyper-personalised programme, tailored to each guest’s desires – from exquisite culinary journeys, to artistic and cultural excursions, Each Arq villa has a dedicated chef to offer and tailor delectable menus and the Palace’s skilled mixologists stand ready each evening to craft a selection of cocktails. The villas (two one-bed Lake View Villas, and one two-bed Family Villa) are lavishly decorated with brass inlaid wooden floors, traditional Thikri artwork, and rare lapis stones, with each villa’s private plunge pools offering extraordinary lake views.
For activities outside the villas, each Arq guest will be offered a curated safari experience according to their interests – these include:
