 The menu includes a selection of indulgent options, including a tender Roasted Beef Sirloin served with a rich, flavorful gravy, juicy Roast Chicken Poussin infused with lemon, rosemary, and thyme, and a beautifully Stuffed Roast Lamb Saddle. For a vegetarian delight, the Roasted Delica Pumpkin arrives with smoky baba ganoush for a unique twist on the classic roast. Each dish is complemented by a selection of traditional trimmings, including fluffy Yorkshire puddings, golden roasted potatoes, sweet-glazed carrots, and perfectly sautéed Savoy cabbage, for a completely indulgent Sunday meal.

This autumn, Casa Cruz in Notting Hill — which is currently in collaboration with Chef Jaïs Mimoun of the much-loved Parisian restaurant Jaïs — invites guests to indulge in a fresh take on the classic Sunday Roast. Inspired by Parisian culinary traditions, this new Sunday menu combines French elegance with a warm, communal dining experience that’s perfect for sharing.

Embodying Chef Jaïs’s philosophy of bringing people together over refined yet approachable food, the menu includes a selection of thoughtfully crafted, French-inspired dishes, designed to elevate the beloved British tradition. Guests can start with artisanal breads and French appetisers like Sautéed Porcini Mushrooms with Parmesan Cream and Scallop Carpaccio with Confit Ginger Vinegar. For the main course, shareable roasts such as Roasted Lamb Shank and Black Angus Côte de Boeuf are served with classic sides like Homemade French Fries and Glazed Seasonal Vegetables.

Set in Casa Cruz’s inviting Notting Hill space, which has been thoughtfully re-arranged to capture the convivial spirit of Jaïs in Paris, the Sunday Roast offers a leisurely, stylish afternoon with family or friends. Paired with curated French wines, this unique roast is the perfect way to experience Chef Jaïs’s signature fusion of French heritage and international flavours.

Langan’s Brasserie’s Classic Sunday Roast

Langan’s Brasserie, the iconic Mayfair institution with an unparalleled reputation for sophisticated cuisine, provides a timeless Sunday roast experience, available every Sunday until 5pm. Diners can choose from premium options like Hereford Ribeye, succulent Suffolk Half Chicken, or Tamworth Pork Belly, each served with roast potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, and seasonal root vegetables. Vegetarians can enjoy a rich Celeriac Fondant accompanied by roasted root vegetables for a satisfying, plant-based option.

The Twenty Two Restaurant

The Twenty Two embodies joie-de-vivre with opulent interiors, playful programming and elegance at its core. The hotel, which opened in April 2022, is home to 31 bedrooms and suites – including a standalone Mews House with its own entrance – a neighbourhood restaurant, and a buzzing private members’ club. It has been credited with the youthful renaissance of Mayfair drawing an eclectic crowd of Londoners and international guests alike, united by their desire for community and connection. The Restaurant is spearheaded by Alan Christie (previously Arbutus) with his modern menu uses the best of British seasonal produce elevated by Mediterranean flavours.

Sundays guests can expect Roast Cornish Red Chicken, Roast Mount Grace Farm Lamb and Roast Sirloin of Aberdeen Beef served with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, cauliflower cheese and seasonal vegetables. There are plenty of other starters and mains to choose from including Cornish dover sole meunière with capers and parsley, Asparagus and pea risotto with aged parmesan or Seared tuna steak, miso, black sesame and chilli.

There is a diverse wine list with varieties from Sussex to the Sonoma Coast, as well as an inventive cocktail menu, but the feather in the cap is a brand-new Bloody Mary trolley consisting of homemade spiced tomato juice, an array of gin, tequila and vodkas, and surprising garnishes including mignonette and crispy bacon.
