TAKE OFF ON TWO NEW RIDES AT ROARR! THIS SUMMER

Friday 04th Aug 2023 |

ROARR!, the #1 dinosaur-themed adventure Park in the UK has unveiled two new rides for guests to experience and enjoy this summer.

The Park, nine miles west of Norwich, which already boasts 25 dinosaur-themed attractions in both indoor and outdoor settings, will welcome a new flyer ride and a swing ride designed and manufactured by Zamperla, an Italian design and ride manufacturer company, which is best-known for creating family rides and roller coasters worldwide.

Park Director Adam Goymour said “At ROARR! we’re always looking for innovative and creative ways to enhance the experience for families at our Park. We’ve now added not one but two dinosaur-themed rides which are sure to be a real hit with our families. These rides are the first element of our all-new Discovery Land, which we’ll be developing further over the next few years.”

Zamperla, the company behind the design and manufacture of both rides, already supplies to amusement parks worldwide including Disney, MCA Universal Studios and Warner Bros. Marco Mazzucchi, Sales Manager at Zamperla said “We had great fun working with the team at ROARR! to provide these rides that bring something totally new to the Park and its guests, making its existing proposition even more exciting and interactive.”

Located next to Explorers, the Secret Animal Garden and Predator High Ropes, the new rides sit within Discovery Land, which visitors can reach by traversing Dippy’s Land and following the pathway through the Valley of the Dinosaurs.

  • Travel back in time on the Swing-O-Saurus, a twist on the traditional Victorian swing boat. The ride seats 12 passengers at a time back-to-back and moves back and forth at a gentle pace that’s perfect for younger visitors. Explorers must be a minimum of 79cm tall, but that means even more fun for free for youngsters under 90cm who currently enter the Park free of charge.
  • Raptor Contraptor is a carousel of seats in 8 pairs giving passengers the thrill of flying like a pterodactyl: thanks to the interactive experience, riders are in full control as they swoop and fly their way through the sky. One for slightly older children, minimum height for accompanied riders is 90cm, or 120cm for unaccompanied.

Adam Goymour, Park Director, said: “We know how valuable parks like ROARR! are for encouraging families to spend precious time together. The Park has always provided a backdrop for adventurous fun and play, and with these new rides, we will continue to bring ROARR-some experiences to our many fans and guests, with all attractions being included in the entry price.”

Tickets to the Park can be pre-booked online at roarr.co.uk.
