Spice up your Christmas with a three-night package starting on Christmas Eve at the seafront White Lion Hotel in Aldeburgh.

Although classic festive favourites will be served for lunch on the big day, Christmas Eve dinner will be an exotic feast of oriental dishes in the hotel’s Indian restaurant, Sea Spice. The tempting array will range from Goan inspired fish and seafood to tandoori grilled meats and traditional fragrant curries.

After a Buck’s Fizz breakfast on Christmas Day morning, there is plenty of time to take a refreshing walk along the beach and build up an appetite for the traditional lunch. A buffet spread will be served later in the evening.

On Boxing Day, tuck into a lazy morning brunch then wrap up warm and watch the brave souls as they enter the freezing North Sea for the town’s annual charity swim at 11am. Back at the White Lion look forward to a bottomless afternoon tea. Sea Spice will also be open on Boxing Day evening, should you wish to enjoy something spicy, but as this is not included in the package it will incur an extra charge.
