Henners English sparkling wine

Classically made English sparkling wines grown in coastal vineyards and produced by a small, dedicated team of winemakers in Herstmonceux, East Sussex. Made in vineyards in East Sussex, just three miles from the sea, Henners’ labels have been designed using the sights and sounds of the surroundings: bramble bushes, seagulls and vines. The wines are made by Collette O’Leary, a former PR who retrained as a winemaker.

The bottle’s foil coiffe is unique to Henners.  Each cuvée is represented by a different colour which reflects the muted colour palette of the surrounding area: a mineral blue for ‘Brut’, a muted green for ‘Vintage’, a dusky pink for ‘Rosé’, and a clay colour for ‘Blancs de Blancs’. The coiffe also features a zoetrope illustration of a seagull in-flight, inside the tear strip. Henners is available now from independent retailers around the UK.  The core range comprises:

  • Henners Brut NV (Chardonnay 40%, Pinot Noir 35%, Pinot Meunier 25%) RSP: £30
  • Henners Rosé (Pinot Meunier 65%, Pinot Noir 35%)
    RSP : £38
  • Henners Vintage (Chardonnay 70%, Pinot Noir 30%) – current vintage 2014
    RSP : £38
