Thai Square Putney Bridge will mark the return of the iconic Oxford vs Cambridge Boat Race on Saturday 13 April 2025 with a full day of riverside celebrations, prime race viewing, and award-winning hospitality.
Situated directly opposite the starting line, the restaurant offers one of the best vantage points along the Thames. Guests can enjoy a specially curated Boat Race Set Menu (from £28), alongside themed cocktails including the Oxford Blue Lagoon and Cambridge Passion, all complemented by live screenings of the race from the restaurant.
Outside the restaurant, a lively street food and bar area will be serving Thai favourites such as Chicken Satay, Vegetable Spring Rolls, Stir-Fried Noodles with Chicken, Chicken on Rice, French Fries and Prawn Crackers. Drinks include Chang Beer, Guinness, Pimm’s and soft drinks, with a Buy 5, Get 1 Free offer available on beers and Pimm’s throughout the day.
The celebrations continue into the evening at TSQ Playhouse, the venue’s adjacent bar, where a high-energy day party will take place from midday until late. Guests can enjoy live DJ sets, VIP patio seating, and a range of bucket drink bundles starting from £25, featuring signature cocktails such as Sex in the Jungle and Passion Paradise. Those who register for the event via Eventbrite will also receive a complimentary Chang Beer, redeemable on arrival with a QR code.
Thai Square Putney and TSQ Playhouse are prime viewing locations, given their proximity to the start line.
