For those craving something other than eggs for brunch, Shoreditch Pan-Asian hotspot, UBA, has unveiled a refreshed weekend brunch menu bursting with flavour. Perfectly timed for the summer season, expect bold street food flavours and exquisitely crafted cocktails, all served against a backdrop of sleek interiors and laid-back beats.
Curated by Head Chef Pavel Baranovs and inspired by the bustling markets and dynamic flavours of Asia’s most iconic cities, the new eclectic menu offers a modern and elevated interpretation of brunch. Highlights from the small dishes include the sweet yet salty Yuzu Sesame Edamame; spicy Korean Crispy Fried Chicken; and a Salmon Hirata with Yuzu mayo.
For mains, diners can choose from a selection of StirFry Egg Noodles, with a choice of chicken and prawns, salmon, beef, or tofu and jackfruit, and all mixed with fresh vegetables and a rich chow mein sauce. Or opt for a nourishing Donburi bowl, with four options including silken tofu and chicken teriyaki, all served with rice, mixed veg, house pickles and a perfectly cooked onsen egg.
Available every Saturday and Sunday from 12pm – 4pm, guests can enjoy one small plate plus a main for £25. Add 90 minutes of free-flowing drinks, including cocktails such as a Margarita, Blushing Geisha or Aperol Spritz; as well as house wines and prosecco for an additional £40.
Whether you’re celebrating, catching up with friends or simply brunching for the joy of it, UBA’s new offering promises bold flavours for a truly sociable dining experience. This isn’t your typical eggs-and-avocado affair – it’s a dynamic, Pan-Asian escape right in the heart of East London.
