Introducing low-cost recipes for winter that are both budget-friendly and incredibly satisfying.

Air Fryer Cheesy Garlic and Prawn Tortilla Pizza

Recipe Description: Change up your lunch game with Air Fryer Cheesy Garlic and Prawn Tortilla Pizza! Creamy, cheesy, and low in calories, this quick and easy recipe is ideal for a satisfying lunch. Topped with juicy prawns and mouth-watering Primula Mature Cheddar.

What you need:

4 mini tortilla (6-8-inch size)

4tbsp passata

70g Primula Mature Cheddar

For the topping:

40g king prawns, cooked

½ garlic clove, crushed

¼ red onion, sliced

Handful of rocket, to serve

How you do it:

  1. Spread a small amount of Primula Cheese ‘n’ Prawns across one side of a tortilla. Top with another tortilla and place in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 360°F/182°C for about 2-3 minutes or until the tortilla is golden.
  2. Flip the tortilla over. Spread the passata over the tortilla. Top with Primula Mature Cheddar, king prawns, garlic, and red onion.
  3. Air Fry the pizza at 360°F/182°C for 2-5 minutes or until heated through and the cheese is melted.
  4. Repeat to make two tortilla pizzas.
  5. Add a handful of rocket and enjoy!

Air Fryer Creamy Tuna Melt Stuffed Peppers

Tuna melt stuffed peppers are so creamy and hearty that you would never know it was under 300 calories per serving. Primula Light Cheese ‘n’ Onion adds a creamy, delicious flavour that melts in your mouth and pairs perfectly with Tuna in brine. Suitable for meal prep, the fresh cheesy tuna filling can be used again in different recipes throughout the week. Yum!

What you need:

2 bell peppers, halved and cored

100g long grain rice

145g tuna chunks in brine

1 celery stalk, finely chopped

2 spring onions, sliced

70g Primula Light Cheese ‘n’ Onion

½ lemon, squeezed

1tsp Dijon mustard

¼tsp salt

¼tsp black pepper

How you do it:

  1. Boil the rice according to pack instructions.
  2. Place the prepared pepper halves in the air fryer for 5 minutes at 200°C.
  3. In a mixing bowl, stir half the Primula Light Cheese ‘n’ Onion, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Add the tuna, celery, and most spring onions (leaving some for garnish). Gently stir until well combined.
  5. Fill the pepper halves about halfway with the cooked rice. Place the tuna salad on top of the rice. Cook the peppers at 200°C for a further 5 minutes.
  6. Garnish with Primula Light Cheese ‘n’ Onion, spring onions and serve.
