The festive season is well and truly underway at Kitchen at Holmes, who, following last year’s enormous success, are running the secret rooftop cinema experience again this year.
Nestled into Marylebone’s much beloved Baker Street, Kitchen at Holmes is a cosy neighbourhood restaurant, and this special offering will include a festive feast before heading upstairs on to the secret terrace.

Guests will be invited to snuggle into an abundance of fur throws amongst the Christmas trees and fairy lights, ready to enjoy a Christmas classic projected on a screen amongst the rooftops of Marylebone, with the option of ordering some special serves from Jameson to sip throughout the showings. The pop-up will be available from
Thursday 17th November to Friday 16th December (every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) and will be showing everyone’s Christmas favourites including the likes of
The Holiday, Love Actually, It’s a Wonderful Life & A Miracle on 34th Street.

Before the film, guests will be able to enjoy the new festive menu, which is packed full of seasonal produce with a broad range of dishes to cater for all tastes. Fresh tahini with crushed tomatoes is served with fluffy, fresh Jerusalem pitta; then Squash Blossom Whip with goat’s cheese, pomegranate and walnuts. The
kitchen at Holmes is renowned for its beautiful Mediterranean dishes, and this menu also includes the local’s favourite of courgette spaghetti with pistachio, basil and smoked ricotta, and there are also larger dishes of Morcon Iberico De Belota, grilled octopus, lamb Koftas and roasted cod. Dessert is the Black Forest or a selection of ice cream and sorbets, however – no trip to the cinema is complete without popcorn. In honour of this special festive experience, Chef Stefano Motta has created a selection of flavours to enjoy whilst watching the film, each perfectly encapsulating a taste of the
Christmas season – clarified black truffle butter; lemon, parmesan and smoked paprika; or sweet pumpkin and maple spices.
Tickets are £70 per person for dinner and a film and include a glass of champagne or a cocktail. There will also be an inclusive range of cocktails available to order as to the cinema terrace, all made with Jameson – the perfect warming accompaniment to a cosy winter evening:
- IRISH SMASH – Jameson Original, Lime juice, Sugar, Mint
- PALOMA WAY – Jameson Orange, Thyme Syrup, Lime Juice, soda
- HOT TODS – Jameson Black Barrel, Ginger, Spice, Lemon
