Cutwater cocktails in a can are perfect for a cosy night at home, drinks with friends and family, or a hassle-free way to toast upcoming festivities in style.
The new Cutwater Cocktails range brings bar quality, and strength, cocktails to a can. Made with premium spirits and real fruit juices, you won’t believe you grabbed these cocktails from the fridge and not your local cocktail bar.
The all-natural range – which includes Tequila Margarita, Whisky Mule, Strawberry Margarita, Vodka Mule and Rum Mojito – will be available for the first time in the UK from October and is set to surprise consumers who won’t be able to believe that the bar-quality cocktails are in a can and not from the hands of a mixologist.
Based in San Diego, Cutwater Spirits is the number one, and most awarded, Ready to Drink cocktail brand in the US growing by 145% year on year. It has an acclaimed line-up of over 22 canned cocktail classics, made from its portfolio of bottled spirits. The spirits have won over 30 awards at the 2020 London Spirits Competition, include tequilas, vodkas, rums, gins, whiskies, mezcal, and liqueurs.
Julie Veryser, Head of Digital and Marketing at Cutwater, said: “The ready-to-drink cocktail market is a fast-growing category in the UK due to its convenience and cost-effective nature. We believe that it is time for a ‘bar quality’ and bar strength cocktails in cans to enter the market and take it to the next level. Cutwater cocktails bring with them years of experience and a natural, sophisticated and delicious taste profile that we also believe consumers will love.”
Cutwater Spirits co-founder and master distiller, Yuseff Cherney made the decision to begin canning cocktails because he wanted to make bar quality drinks that he could enjoy with his friends while enjoying his outdoor hobbies of fishing and hiking.
The launch was marked with a pop-up bar in London called The Cutwater Cocktail Bar. The bar saw TV and social media star, Charlotte Dawson, playfully ruse customers by pretending to mix delicious fresh cocktails that were actually Cutwater Spirit canned drinks – demonstrating how comparable the quality is.
The brand operates from a 50,000 square foot distillery and production facility, which includes a world-class tasting room and restaurant. To date, it has earned over 1,600 awards across its portfolio of products and is distributed in 48 states.
