‘Chocolate Core’ predicted to be the next big, pop culture inspired, trend this A/W

‘Chocolate Core’ will be the next big, pop culture inspired, trend as we head into autumn and winter, according to jewellery experts. 

Jewellery and style experts predict the chocolate trend, which would follow the likes of ‘Barbie Core’ and ‘Mermaid Core’, will be influenced by the much anticipated Wonka film starring Hollywood heartthrob and Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend Timothee Chalamet. 

The official trailer for the film, which will be released on 15th December, has already racked up 30 million views and gives a sneak preview of the mouth-watering, chocolate hued, visual extravaganza. 

TV and film have inspired some of 2023 most popular cores and aesthetic trends, including Barbie’s ‘Barbie Core’, Disney’s The Little Mermaid’s ‘Mermaid Core’ and #darkacademia which as of September 2023 has had 5bn views on TikTok and was inspired by Netflix’s Wednesday starring Jenna Ortega. 

Jewellery brand PRYA is now predicting the Wonka film will inspire aesthetics everywhere as we head into autumn and winter. And it’s not just PRYA who are predicting ‘Chocolate Core’ to be the next big thing. The Queen of what’s trending, Hailey Bieber recently graced the front cover of Vogue Japan in a chocolate ensemble and in Vogue UK’s recent A/W 2023 round up, the fashion giants included caramel hue knits, deep brown leather, suede brown boots and chocolate coloured coats in their ‘must-haves’ this season. 

When it comes to what’s trending TikTok is King, and now that the warmer temperatures have cooled down, Hailey Bieber’s ‘Strawberry Makeup’ has taken a back seat and we’ve seen a resurgence of the viral TikTok trend, chocolate coloured ‘Latte Makeup’ with 372.6 million views and counting.
