Bottle Up (www.bottleup.com) is a revolutionary sustainable, plant-based, BPA-free, pre-filled reusable water bottle. Made in Wolverhampton, Bottle Up turns renewable sugar cane sourced from Brazilian grasslands into durable, sustainable bottles which are then filled with pure British spring water from Elmhurst in Staffordshire for minimum carbon impact.
Bottle Up was founded in Amsterdam in 2019 to help fight the international single-use plastic crisis. In the UK alone it has been reported that over 7.7 billion single-use plastic water bottles are consumed every year, with water bottles making up over half of the plastic waste in the Thames. Bottle Up’s water bottles are renewable, reusable, recyclable and affordable alternatives to grab-and-go water bottles. With three colours to pick from it offers an eco-friendly option for those busy on-the-go without the need to carry a reusable water bottle or purchase single use plastic.
Bottle Up’s reusable bottles are available to buy in Morrisons, Ocado, WH Smith, The Coop, BP, Wholefoods, and Amazon RRP £3.
The 100% BPA-free filled water bottles are dishwasher safe so once empty can be reused again and again. Bottle Up’s products were created with design and personality in mind but built to last. The raw material used in Bottle Up’s bottles is sugar cane, a low impact crop requiring little to no fertilizer or additional irrigation.
Bottle Up has made strides in helping hospitality venues to become sustainable through partnerships with chains such as Accor who own the likes of Ibis, Mercure and Sofitel Hotels. They’ve also just sold their 50,000 bottle with BP and are currently the top-selling brand on Amazon within the still water category.
