Available from 13th November in all 14 of its boutique shops sprinkled across the capital and Windsor, Brighton & Lakeside (as well as online for nationwide delivery), the award-winning, luxury gelato producer has carefully curated a collective of crave-worthy, premium products perfect for foodie gifting or festive entertaining.
Founded in Florence in 1932, Badiani is known as one of the most famous gelato producers in the world but the brand’s discerning taste extends far beyond the frozen. From quintessential Italian seasonal cakes to brand new scrumptious sauces, the exquisite Christmas collection will immerse lucky recipients in the ultimate Florentine experience, beautifully gift-wrapped in Badiani’s vibrant signature designs for that extra special flair.
BADIANI’S 2023 CHRISTMAS COLLECTION
Panettone Classico – £32.00 (serves 8)
Badiani’s classic seasonal Italian sweet bread comes straight from its homeland and is made following the original baking tradition that involves curing the dough and proofing to make the cake deliciously fluffy. Badiani’s Panettone is bursting with candied fruits, raisins, and a zingy lemon zest finish. It is a lighter alternative to stodgier Christmas puds and pairs perfectly with a chilled glass of prosecco.
Badiani will also offer an exclusive Olive Oil Panettone (£34.00 serves 8), available only in-store. This limited stock treat will be crafted using the same ingredients as the classic version, but with olive oil instead of butter to create a more savoury twist on the classic sweet bread.
Panettone Dark Chocolate – £34.00 (serves 8)
Exploring the darker, more indulgent side to tradition the new panettone flavour ticks all the boxes of the classic favourite with the extra decadence and richness of dreamy dark chocolate.
You can enjoy a slice of either panettone in any of Badiani’s shops with a scoop of the signature, trademarked Buontalenti gelato or drizzled with their famous hazelnut and pistachio sauces.
Pandoro – £32.00 (serves 8)
Like panettone, pandoro is made from a rich, eggy dough, similar to brioche. It’s baked in an eight-pointed star-shaped pan that gives it its signature form. Badiani dusts the pandoro with powdered sugar and recommends pairing it with their signature Buontalenti flavoured gelato or custard.
The shimmering cake makes an elegant centrepiece for any Christmas table and, presented in a deep blue eco-friendly gift bag, it is the perfect present to take along to a seasonal shindig.
