As the weather starts to warm up across Europe and with more people keen to head on a city break, loveholidays has revealed the best cities across Europe for breakfast lovers, helping them decide on which destination to visit next.
London takes the crown as Europe’s best spot for breakfast. Home to 3,589 breakfast cafes, 1,078 coffee shops and 226 bakeries, visitors to the capital are spoilt for choice when it comes to their morning meal. On average, 27,300 people search for ‘breakfast in London’ each month.
Rome ranks in second place, with the city boasting 404 coffee shops for those keen to try authentic Italian coffee – among all cities in the ranking, you’ll find the cheapest coffee prices in Rome, with these averaging at €1.45.
Notorious for its pastries and baguettes, Paris places in third. The French capital has the highest number of bakeries, with 274 to try along with 1,967 breakfast cafes and 230 coffee shops. You won’t be starved for Instagram-worthy options either, with over 191,000 people posting about their Parisian breakfast experience.
