Set to become an energetic retreat offering a new unique experience for free-spirited travellers, the latest W Escape, the brand’s playful take on the traditional luxury resort experience,takes advantage of its location and seamlessly blends high-energy programming with serene scenes. Surrounded by unspoiled beaches and secluded coves, sport-lovers can experience hiking, sailing, rock-climbing and biking, with a brand-new water sports centre coming in 2023.

The Fabulous Infinity Swim Up Rooms offer direct access to one of the swimming pools, perfect for groups of friends booking neighbouring rooms. For breath-taking views, guests can opt for the Spectacular Panorama rooms, and for an exclusive luxury private stay, they can choose one of the WOW Beachfront Infinity Villas complete with an outdoor private terrace and pool, and direct access to the beach.
The guestrooms décor will see locally inspired Greek architectural elements mixed with modern cutting-edge finishes, in-room technology, and Signature W Amenities. Renowned Greek architects, Tombazis and Associates have created a residential detail-driven rustic and raw design throughout the hotel using natural materials such as stone, wood and reed, a nod to the region’s traditional architecture. The neutral toned guestroom interiors, led by London-based MKV Design, offer a nod to Greek artisans with playful interpretations of the saddler’s art, seen in leather chairs and the craftsmanship of basket weavers, potters and carpenters share the spotlight in the lighting and floor coverings.
A TEMPTING TWIST ON BEACHFRONT DINING
Platía is a modern take on a traditional Messinian village square. A place to have breakfast, enjoy a freshly brewed coffee at the Café throughout the day or savour a grill menu in the evening, it evokes the energy of a local Greek deli food market and builds on the notion of artisanal culinary stores with distinct specialties. Platía is designed by Athens-based K-studio architects and Tombazis, with interiors by MKV Design.
W Lounge offers the latest mixology trends and will be open all day with Greek and international DJs, as well as live music.
Parelía overlooks a long sandy shore at the Bay of Navarino and is set to become a destination dining and late-night venue, with its Mani-style stone walls and capped timber ceilings. It has been designed by Tombazis and K-Studio, with the latter also in charge of the interiors. Here, local, and international DJs will bring curated nightly beats and high-energy nights to remember.
The bar Between sets the stage for the stunning Messinian sunset with cocktails, light, mostly raw dinner offering and live DJ performances. The interiors at Between were created by Interior Design Laboratorium.
This W Escape embraces its location and community through its dynamic dining offerings and offers authentic local experiences, from traditional village cooking classes to local olive oil and wine tastings.
