Christmas in Covent Garden – FROG BY ADAM HANDLING
Adam’s flagship restaurant is perfectly located for some Christmas merriment in the heart of Covent Garden and the West End. Adam and his team of elves have created menus offering a theatrical touch, bringing exciting flavours together with showstopping culinary techniques.
This year’s festive additions include the likes of ‘Goose, stuffing, chestnut, all the trimmings’ (for 2) as well as Adam’s take on a spectacular Christmas dessert, ‘Christmas parfait, chestnut, mandarin’, both available on the à la carte menu. To truly celebrate in style, you’ll want to go for Adam’s seven-course tasting menu at £125pp, which features Adam’s personal favourite dishes, including his signature ‘Wagyu lobster’ which will be available as a supplementary course. You can also opt for the ‘Journey Wine Pairing’ at £80pp, or the spectacular ‘Premium Wine Pairing’ at £150pp. Card details will be required to secure any bookings in the event of no-shows.
Christmas in Covent Garden – EVE BAR
We have one thing to say to you – ‘Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire’. No, we won’t be serenading you this year but rather, combining Hudson Baby Bourbon, Cadello Liqueur, Talisker 10, and Yuzu Honey for Christmas perfection in a glass. And for once, the notion of having a ‘Red Nose, Red Cheeks’ doesn’t fill us with a chill – Adam’s astoundingly talented team have also concocted a deliciously warming cocktail using Grey Goose Vodka, Mozart Chocolate Liqueur, Ancho Reyes Chile Liqueur, and D.O.M. Benedict. For those of us on the naughty list, they’ve also created ‘Santa’s Sauce’ – Eve’s innovative take on the classic mulled wine that can be enjoyed hot or chilled, featuring Monastrell Hono Vera Organic Red, Hubert Liquor Gin, Plymouth Sloe Gin and Eve Bar Spice.
The festive cocktails are all priced at £13 and will be available as part of Eve’s award-winning cocktail list, perfect to sample alongside some mouth-watering Bar Snacks (we see you, ‘Cheese Doughnut’ lovers), which are priced at £10 each. After the year we’ve all had, Eve’s mantra, ‘Resist EVErything Except Temptation’ could not be more apt…
The entire Frog by Adam Handling restaurant is also available for private hire, as is ‘The Library’ Private Dining Room, Eve Bar, and the Eve Bar Cellar. Please note, capacity will be dependent on government guidelines on Covid-19 at the time of booking.
