Often considered to be the most depressing day of the year, this year, Blue Monday will fall on Monday 15th January 2024. 

With an average of 18 million days per year lost to mental health conditionsMental Health Coach, Family Therapist and Anxiety Support Specialist Cai Graham gives her top tips on beating the Monday blues this Blue Monday.

Cai says, Blue Monday, often associated with feelings of sadness and low motivation, can be challenging to navigate. Instead of focusing on self-improvement, which can sometimes lead to negative self-perception, the focus should be on embracing authenticity, shifting our perspective towards accepting who we are and becoming better versions of ourselves.”

1. Practice Self-Acceptance:

“Instead of striving for perfection, practice self-acceptance. Embrace your strengths, acknowledge your limitations, and celebrate your unique qualities. Accepting yourself as you are can boost self-esteem and create a positive mindset.”

2. Baby Steps:
