To help your website and webpages to rank higher on the search engine, you need to optimize your website according to SEO. Once your website is well optimized for the search engines, it will appear more relevant to the searches than your competitors.  

That being said, if a user looks for a relevant keyword, your website will rank higher than your competitors’ websites, leading to a higher conversion rate and sales.  

Talking about SEO, it can be divided into three types.  

What Are Google Ads? 

If Google Ads doesn’t ring any bells, then Google Adwords might sound familiar. These are paid advertising campaigns that use keywords to target audiences. 

Whenever a searcher is looking for something online, they use a keyword. The moment they use a keyword that is relevant to the keyword for which you are running online ads, the ads will pop up for the users. 

Each time your ads come up on the SERP, and someone clicks it, you will have to pay a fee to the search engine. Note that this fee is chargeable when someone clicks on the ad.  

The best part of Google ads is that, unlike SEO, it brings quick results. In our experience, we have seen that the only difference you can see between the two is how fast they bring results. 

For SEO, you are not paying anything to search engines, so you have to stick with best SEO practices. However, with Google Ads, you are paying to get traffic to your website. This way, you get instant traffic with Google ads.

For instance, if you are just starting your business and need some immediate traffic to your website, going with google ads might seem more reasonable. But the downside is that you will enjoy traffic as long as you are paying for it. 

However, in the case of SEO, things are different and free. You do not have to pay for the traffic that visits your website. Instead, you just need to optimize your website and content with best SEO practices.
