Courmayeur Mont Blanc is delighted to be welcoming a star-studded line up of Michelin starred chefs and sommeliers for another month of culinary excellence, with the third edition of ‘Peak of Taste’ taking place in March 2024. Joining forces with local chefs, Courmayeur Mont Blanc will host a series of events showcasing the very best of Aosta Valley’s produce and Northern Italy’s traditional cuisine.
Situated in the heart of the Italian Alps, Courmayeur is home to luxury accommodations, pristine ski slopes and an incredible array of fine-dining restaurants. Culinary events will take place across the gastronomic resort, and Courmayeur is inviting guests to meet and eat at altitude with some of the most prolific chefs in the region. Events include cooking classes and demonstrations with Chef Paolo Griffa of Paolo Griffa al Caffè Nazionale who is returning to the resort as a Michelin-star chef. Additional workshops will be led by Chef Ugo Alciati of the fine dining restaurant, Guido Ristorante with further offerings including aperitif tasting at the highest peak in Europe – Punta Helbronner Station in Skyway Monte Bianco – followed by a descent to the Pavillon, which sits at an altitude of 2,173 metres, for light bites by Chef Roberto Valbuzzi, patron of Crotto Valtellina Restaurant. Wine tastings and pairings will also take place throughout at recently opened restaurants with fresh and local ingredients.
Five events will take place over the month of March, which will include the 9th Gourmet Ski Experience taking place from 22nd to 24th March, working with the best local restaurants to curate a dedicated itinerary centred around authentic, Italian cuisine and unique dining experiences.

Created by Momentum Experiences and Heston Blumenthal, this foodie event has a renowned and well-deserved reputation for attracting outstanding chefs to Courmayeur’s gourmet haven. Gourmet Ski presents two distinct experiences, led by two of London’s top Michelin-starred chefs with international acclaim. This season’s edition welcomes back Jean-Philippe Blondet, the three-star Michelin Executive Chef of Alain Ducasse at The Dorchester, for the second consecutive year. Joining him is Claude Bosi, the two-star Michelin Executive Chef of Bibendum and recently awarded another 2 Michelin stars at Brooklands , as well as Executive Chef at Grand Hotel Royal e Golf, Emin Haziri, who is renowned for his culinary prowess and recognised as one of Forbes’ prestigious thirty Under 30. This year’s Gourmet Ski experience introduces a novel addition: an après-ski barbecue with live music, accommodating up to 150 guests – an event bigger and better than ever before.

Michelin Starred Master Class with Paolo Griffa – Saturday 9th March @ 10:00
Taking place at Range Rover House, Chef Paolo Griffa, from a local restaurant in the Aosta Valley, Paolo Griffa al Caffè Nazionale and former head chef at Hotel Royale & Golf will demonstrate one of his iconic dishes, revealing ingredients and methods that gained him a Michelin star in 2024. Masterclass costs €20 per person (max 12 participants).
Cooking Class with Ugo Alciati – Saturday 9th March @ 12:00
Taking place at Range Rover House, Chef Ugo Alciati, from local restaurant Guido Ristorante, will create his legendary ‘Agnolotti del Plin, which is traditional stuffed pasta, together with the participants for an immersive culinary experience. The cooking class costs €20 per person (max 20 participants).
Sunset Cocktail at Skyway Mont Blanc – Saturday 9th March @ 17:00
In the early evening, guests will ascend to Skyway Monte Bianco, for sunset cocktails amidst the backdrop of the towering Mont Blanc. Taking just a few minutes, guests will be whisked up high to the first and second stations at Skyway for light bites and spectacular views. At 18:30, guests will enjoy aperitivo hour at Pavillon with finger foods by Chef Roberto Valbuzzi, accompanied by the creations of barman Bruno Vanzan and Cave Mont Blanc sparkling wine. Ascent and aperitivo at Skyway costs €90 per person.
Sunrise breakfast at Dolonne cable car – Sunday 10th March @ 07:00
