Mano Mayfair: A Combination of Latin America and St Tropez

Mano Mayfair, the new venue that combines the vibrancy of Latin America, the glamour of late 1950s St Tropez and the hypnotic atmosphere of the world’s most iconic beach clubs, is now open.

Brought to the capital by Romain Fargette, who has owned restaurants, beach clubs and night clubs on the French Riviera since he was 18, and entrepreneur Alexis Colletta, Mano is all set to disrupt the status quo with its gorgeous interiors, Brazilian-Japanese menu and residencies featuring some of London’s best DJs.

The moment you walk into the restaurant, you know you are somewhere special as the golden ceiling, mirrored walls, luxurious hand-crafted furniture and dazzling bar resplendent with back-lit sake bottles all set the scene for what is to come.

Responsible for a menu that brings something truly different to these shores is Luciana Berry, Winner of Top Chef Brazil 2020 and a MasterChef: The Professionals semi-finalist.

Handpicked by Romain and Alexis, Luciana shares their desire to import some Brazilian fieriness to Mayfair – but with a twist.

Brazilian-Japanese cuisine is no newcomer to London, but it has rarely been done with any degree of authenticity.

At Mano Mayfair you won’t just find a menu of ‘tropical sushi’ but dishes that could have come straight from Sao Paulo’s Liberdade district.

Luciana’s menu features sharing plates spearheaded by the likes of Carne Seca Bun (dried beef in a home-made Brazilian bun); Smoked Picanha with Yakiniku Sauce (Brazil’s national steak, hickory smoked with a traditional Japanese sauce); her signature Moqueca (Brazilian seafood stew with coconut milk & grilled seabass) and Pudim (Brazilian crème caramel made with tapioca, salted miso caramel & Brazil nuts).

A carefully crafted cocktail selection using sake, cachaça, Brazilian mangos and other luscious tropical fruits complement this incredible array.

Further adding to the vibe are the DJs who will be transforming Mano Mayfair into a playground of dancing and decadence Thursdays through Saturdays with their deep house vibes and pulsating rhythms.
