This August, Cloud Nine Glamping is coming to St Giles House, Dorset for the first time.
A brand-new boutique glamping site with luxury accommodation, complimentary activities for all ages and a mouth-watering food and drink offering, Cloud Nine has also been built with social distancing in mind so guests can holiday safely this summer.
Cloud Nine’s accommodation is set within the beautiful grounds of St Giles House, in the heart of Dorset. With bell tents, tipis and VIP emperor tents available, there are plenty of options for groups of friends and family to get away together this August. Each accommodation is designed to be well spaced out, plus there’s private toilets and showers for each tent. All of Cloud Nine’s spacious tents are equipped with the facilities to ensure a luxurious and comfortable stay. Plus, dogs are welcome, so the whole family can get away for a short-break in the countryside.
THINGS TO DO
Cloud Nine Glamping offers a vast array of specially curated activities for all ages, interests and abilities, whether guests are looking for a fun-filled, action-packed stay, or a more relaxed break. Head out onto the lake at St Giles House for paddle boarding and kayaking, enjoy complimentary yoga and pilates within the glorious surroundings, have a family game night, let the kids tire themselves out with free badminton, cricket, trampolines, a socially distanced silent disco and more, explore the Dorset woodland and wildlife on guided walking tours and walking trails, plus there are arts and crafts, kids parties and storytelling. Cloud Nine Glamping is a campsite with a large area, so you can equip your car with a sturdy bike rack for a minivan and bring bikes for the whole family to have a great time together outdoors. And if you don’t have your own bikes, our Dorset Campsite has a bike rental where you can choose any bike you like.
FOOD AND DRINK
Guests can enjoy a delicious selection of food and drink during their stay, with gourmet street food, pop-up cocktail bars, wood-fired pizza and small bites for kids. There will be organic wines, local craft beers, fruit-filled smoothies and more. A private dining experience will be available to book, as well as roaming gin tasting with resident expert Robert Blackwood and delicious premium spirits from Master Distiller Stuart Brown’s Deerness Distillery. They’ll bring the gin-tasting to you, to ensure you can relax with the knowledge social distancing is being maintained.
COVID-19 – SOCIALLY DISTANCED SUMMER BREAKS
The team at Cloud Nine Glamping has over 20 years’ experience putting on some of the UK’s biggest festivals and events. The entire campsite and all activities have been planned and built to ensure that social distancing measures can be adhered to, based on the latest government guidelines. The site can be easily adapted if government advice changes.
To keep guests as safe as possible, various measures have been put in place. Tents are intended for those who live together in the same household. It is possible to book as a group, but the latest social distancing measures will apply. Upon arrival on site there will be a smooth, socially distanced check in, and all tents come with their own private toilets and dedicated showers. Caterers and activities will all follow the current government guidelines to ensure guests can have fun and stay safe.
