Il Gattopardo – Mayfair’s restaurant inspired by 1960s Italy – is delighted to announce the arrival of the Dubai Tavoleta, its very own take on the viral ‘Dubai Chocolate’, to its menu. This exclusive dessert joins the ‘London’ version of their infamous Tavoleta, and brings the much-loved flavours of the Dubai sensation to London, with an Italian twist.
The restaurant’s Head Pastry Chef, Galileo Reposo has created a unique take on the viral chocolate that is nearly impossible to find in London. Il Gattopardo’s version, the ‘Dubai Tavoleta’, sees crunchy Knafeh paste mixed with toasted Piedmont hazelnuts, all enveloped in smooth milk chocolate with a hint of salt. This new dessert addition will be available exclusively for the month of April in its London restaurant. Just as is true of the viral original, Il Gattopardo’s chocolate bar offers a more-ish flavour that leaves you craving more.
The London Tavoleta edition is a 70% dark chocolate bar filled with vanilla fudge, Piedmontese hazelnut praline and sea salt. Originally created as an off-menu item, it is now available as a permanent addition to the menu, following much demand.
Il Gattopardo’s ‘Dubai’ Tavoleta is available to order exclusively during the month of April, whereas the ‘London’ Tavoleta joins as a permanent addition to the Dessert menu. Both are available to order to the table for £18.
