10 Must-Have Beach Accessories

Are you looking forward to summer vacation? If yes, then you should definitely pack some essential items before heading out to the beach.

Summertime means fun in the sun, relaxing at the pool, or spending time with friends and family. It’s not nearly as fun if you aren’t prepared though.

Whether you’re headed to the beach, the pool, or somewhere else, you’ll need to pack some essential beach equipment. From sunscreen to swimwear, here’s a list of 10 must-have beach accessories.

1. Must-Have Beach Accessories – A Sunshade

If you don’t have one already, consider getting a beach umbrella for your next trip. They can be easily set up on the sand and provide shade from the hot sun.

If you’re going with the whole family, then you may want to consider a family-size sunshade. These umbrellas are large enough that they can fit multiple people under them without feeling crowded.

2. Must-Have Beach Accessories – Collapsible Sand Buckets

Collapsible buckets for sandcastles will come in handy when it comes time to clean up after playing in the sand. They can be collapsed in order to create more space in your bag or car too, which makes them pretty convenient for beach play!

3. Must-Have Beach Accessories – Waterproof Bag

When you’re packing for a day at the beach, you’ll want to make sure you have everything you need. This includes sunscreen, sunglasses, towels, and other essentials.

A waterproof bag is an excellent way to keep all of these things organized and safe during transport. You won’t have to worry about spilling anything while driving or getting your bag wet when you’re close to the sea. Perfect!

4. Towels

You might think that you only need one towel, but there are actually many different types of towels. For example, you could get a beach towel, bath towel, hand towel, or even a face towel.

You’ll probably want something light so that you can move around comfortably if you’re going to be carrying your bag around with you. At the very least, pack two towels each – one to dry yourself with after a splash in the ocean, and one to lie on while you’re sunbathing on the shore!

5. Folding Beach Table

If you plan on having a picnic on the beach, then you’ll want to bring along a folding table. This will allow you to spread out a blanket or lay down your food and drinks. It’s much better than having all of your yummy food on the floor, where it could easily be covered in sand with just a little bit of wind. Get something lightweight that you can easily carry – even better, look for something that comes with a carry bag for convenient transportation.

6. Must-Have Beach Accessories – Pop Up Cooler

If you’re planning to spend a long day at the beach, then you’re going to want to make sure you’ve got plenty of water to drink. That’s why it’s important to bring along a cooler.

This type of cooler has a lid that pops open and closes, making it easy to access what you need. It’s designed to be easy to carry for a beach trip, as opposed to your standard cooler which is a little bulkier. If you’re looking for something small and compact, then this is definitely the best option for you.

7. Fun Beach Games

Of course, you’re not going to spend every single minute at the beach doing nothing. There are tons of fun games you can play while you’re there. Pick a game that everyone enjoys and you’ll have hours of entertainment! You can play ball games like beach volleyball or badminton, but make sure that you bring the essentials with you for this like the ball or any badminton rackets. You should also pack swim goggles for the whole family, for swimming in the sea of course!

8. Waterproof Phone Pouch

One thing that we always forget to do is put our phones into a waterproof case. Even though they’re made to withstand rain, the phone itself isn’t waterproof. So, if you happen to drop your phone in the pool or the ocean, you’ll want to protect it from damage by putting it inside a waterproof pouch.

9. Beach Chair

When you’re spending time at the beach, you don’t want to sit in uncomfortable chairs. Instead, you should opt for a comfortable chair that allows you to relax and enjoy your time. Look for a chair that folds up into a smaller size, so that you can store it away when you leave the beach.

10. Solar Powered Phone Charger

Another great way to keep your phone charged during your beach vacation is to use a solar-powered charger. These chargers work off of sunlight, so you won’t have to worry about running out of power. Plus, they’re really inexpensive, so you can pick one up without breaking the bank.

Hopefully, these tips will help you get ready for your next beach vacation. Have fun exploring the beautiful beaches of the world, knowing that you have all the gear that you need to have an incredible time!
